STEADICAM
I have been a Steadicam Owner/Operator since 1983. I was
fortunate to receive my instruction from the inventor himself,
Garrett Brown.

The look of a Steadicam shot is not as “perfect” as
a dolly on track, and not as jerky as a hand held camera. To
my eye, it is the closest thing to a person’s vision
as they walk.

The Steadicam can go anywhere a person walks,
or runs. Of course, my running shots are better when I’m
sitting on the back of a vehicle.
